Key Responsibilities: Handle, store, and label food safely
Assist cooks with basic food preparation
Follow food service guidelines and protocols
Serve meals according to resident diet orders
Clean and maintain kitchen and dining room
Requirements: Enroll in or complete a college Food Service Worker Program
Meet Ontario Long-Term Care Homes Act requirements
Hold a current Safe Food Handling Certificate
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication
Provide vulnerable sector check and required TB documentation
Bring safe food handling, resident-focused meal service, and communication skills to Dietary Aide work at Orchard Villa LTC.
