This Registered Nurse works in the ICU/CCU within Lakeridge Health’s Critical Care program. The position uses the nursing process, supports multidisciplinary care, maintains nursing records, and performs related duties. It requires current B.C.L.S., Ontario registration, and critical care capability.
Key Responsibilities: Provide patient care using the nursing process
Participate as a multidisciplinary care team member
Maintain competence and professionalism in current practice
Maintain accurate nursing records
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements: Complete a Critical Care Nursing Certificate
Hold College of Nurses of Ontario registration
Maintain current B.C.L.S. certification
Demonstrate ventilator and haemodynamic monitoring skills
Interpret EKGs and respond appropriately during emergencies
Bring critical care practice, patient assessment, and multidisciplinary collaboration to the ICU/CCU at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
