This Property Accountant supports a property management business within a real-estate company serving property owners since 2002. The position works with the controller, ownership group, vendors, and property management staff. Full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, and lease-related accounting are central to the work.
Key Responsibilities: Manage monthly full-cycle accounting for multi-unit rental properties
Handle complex commercial leases, delinquencies, adjustments, and chargebacks
Deliver monthly statements, balance sheets, and reconciliations
Manage cash flow, analysis, and portfolio forecasting
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Experience with month-end close and multiple bank reconciliations
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite
Ability to use multiple software environments efficiently
Solid communication, responsibility, and deadline management skills
