Under a Manager’s general supervision, you will perform technical laboratory test procedures, evaluate results, verify findings, and prepare reports. Relevant practice fields include Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, and Transfusion Medicine, including Blood Banking. The position requires recent laboratory knowledge, technical competence, and registration through recognized pathways.
Key Responsibilities: Perform technical laboratory test procedures in assigned sections
Evaluate and verify laboratory results accurately
Prepare reports related to laboratory testing




Apply quality control and safety procedures
Operate designated laboratory equipment and software
Requirements: Registration through CAMLPR pathways or CSMLS certification
Recognized competency assessment exam completion
One year recent related experience within six years
Working knowledge of assigned laboratory sections
Ability to organize workload and communicate effectively
Use your clinical chemistry, hematology, and transfusion medicine knowledge while supporting laboratory services at Northern Health.
