Sandvik Mining seeks a Field Service Technician for surface equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and commission mining machines at customer sites. The position includes customer training, technical reporting, and travel to local mine sites and across Canada as required.
Key Responsibilities: Inspect surface equipment and determine faults or malfunctions
Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems
Test repaired equipment for proper operational performance
Commission current equipment and train customers
Complete time records, technical reports, and parts lists
Requirements: Relevant trade certification; red seal considered an asset
Three years related mining equipment experience considered an asset
Read hydraulic and electrical schematics proficiently
Diagnose electrical and mechanical mining equipment issues
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
Apply mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting, and commissioning expertise while supporting Sandvik Mining customers throughout British Columbia.
