This Winter Term 2 internship supports the Customized Solutions Group, a structured rates desk within the CAD Fixed Income group. You will contribute to business development projects, risk analysis tools, options trading, hedging strategies, and processes. The desk trades customized derivatives primarily in CAD and USD, plus other G7 currencies.
Key Responsibilities: Open and close books and daily P&L;
Help the team book trades
Manage trade life-cycle events
Verify documentation and security setup for new trades
Interact daily with support partners
Requirements: Current enrollment in a relevant post-secondary program
Strong financial and analytical skills
Financial modeling and valuation capability
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Solid attention to detail and independent initiative
Develop trading desk experience through structured rates support, financial modeling, trade processing, and risk analysis at TD Securities.
