Drive accurate financial reporting at Bertone Developments in Montreal through advanced Excel, reconciliations, and hands-on corporate accounting. Manage multiple entities and priorities daily.
The Corporate Accountant manages day-to-day accounting for assigned corporate entities and holding companies. This position supports month-end and year-end close, financial statements, general ledgers, and intercompany transactions. It also provides financial information and analysis to the broader finance team.
Key Responsibilities: Perform month-end and year-end close activities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Maintain general ledgers and supporting schedules
Reconcile intercompany transactions and shareholder loans
Support budgeting, forecasting,
and cash flow analysis
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
CPA designation or CPA candidacy considered an asset
Three to five years of progressive accounting experience
Robust financial reporting and reconciliation knowledge
Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency; Yardi experience an asset
