Support Canon printing equipment across Ottawa as a Service Technician, applying troubleshooting expertise through a rotating on-call schedule. This position is 100% remote.
Canon Canada seeks a Service Technician to maintain complex printer solutions for its customer base. You will install, deinstall, relocate, and service printer systems, including pre- and post-equipment and software. The work requires analytical troubleshooting, technical service experience, and customer-focused delivery against Service Level Agreements.
Key Responsibilities: Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on printer systems
Install, deinstall, and relocate equipment at customer sites
Maintain customer satisfaction and meet Service Level Agreements




Escalate unresolved problems through predefined service procedures
Maintain parts inventory, diagnostic, and physical tools
Requirements: Electrical or mechanical degree, vocational, or technical school degree
Mechanical aptitude and technical service experience
Robust analytical skills for equipment review and troubleshooting
Basic computer, technical, and equipment operation skills
Ability to work rotating 24/7 schedules and travel occasionally
Apply printer maintenance, analytical troubleshooting, and customer service skills supporting Canon Canada customers throughout Ottawa remotely.
