Operate in S&C; Electric Canada’s finishing function, using surface preparation and coating skills on the day shift. Support production for reliable electrical-grid equipment.
As a Finishing Operator, you will perform repetitive production tasks within predetermined time constraints. The work includes chipping, hand cleaning, tagging, loading, unloading, Aquaban application, route selection, and paint-colour selection. You will record production data and maintain an orderly workstation.
Key Responsibilities: Chip parts before loading them into production
Clean and prepare surfaces by hand
Load tagged parts and unload related jobs
Apply Aquaban coating when required
Record data and maintain clean work areas
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent
One year of manufacturing experience
Knowledge of cranes, walkies, and pneumatic grinders
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
Bring manufacturing experience, quality attention, and finishing skills to S&C; Electric Canada’s metal-enclosed switchgear production.
