Support clients in Unity through personal care, daily living assistance, and compassionate home support services. This casual position includes travel and varied shifts.
As a Continuing Care Assistant with Unity Health Centre’s Home Support department, you will encourage clients’ optimum functioning. The work includes supporting physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs. Services are provided across multiple sites in Unity.
Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care for clients, patients, and residents
Assist with activities of daily living
Encourage clients’ optimum level of functioning
Support physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs
Travel as required for home care hours
Requirements: Continuing Care Assistant certificate
Basic computer skills
Interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work independently
Food Secure certificate and valid driver’s license where required
Bring personal care, communication, and independent work skills to Unity Health Centre’s Continuing Care Assistant team.
