Personal Support Workers provide compassionate personal care in Thornhill facility settings for Spectrum Health Care, supporting daily living activities and patient needs.
Spectrum Health Care hires full time and part time Personal Support Workers. You will work closely with patients and families, helping patients recover safely or remain at home while aging. The work includes personal care, delegated tasks, changing-needs assessments, and communication about Total Care resources.
Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care and daily living assistance
Support bathing, toileting, skincare, meals, and feeding
Assess and respond to changing patient needs
Perform assigned tasks under Home Support Supervisor direction




Travel between patients’ residences or assigned facilities
Requirements: Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate or listed equivalent
Physical ability to assist clients and lift 23 kilograms
Exceptional personal care and customer service abilities
Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR
Vulnerable Sector Check, Two Step TB Test, and English proficiency
Support Thornhill patients through personal care, daily living assistance, and responsive service as a Personal Support Worker.
