Operate a propane counterbalance forklift on Aerotek’s afternoon shift in Surrey, BC. Load, unload, stage, and move freight safely.
This permanent, fully onsite Forklift Operator position supports a high-volume cross-dock operation. You will handle wide-ranging freight, verify shipments, maintain inventory accuracy, and communicate with drivers, supervisors, and team members. The schedule runs Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities: Operate propane sit-down counterbalance forklifts throughout most shifts
Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers
Stage pallets, appliances, tires, and general cargo
Verify freight using documents and digital tracking systems
Follow safety procedures while adapting to freight volumes
Requirements: Minimum one recent year operating sit-down counterbalance forklifts
Valid forklift certification and trailer-loading experience
Ability to maneuver safely in tight dock areas
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
Basic computer skills and English communication skills
