Operate forklifts and prepare industrial metal shipments for Ryerson in Richmond, BC, working Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm.
As a Material Handler, you will stage, pack, and pick material for fulfillment orders. Your work supports customer-specific packaging, finished goods creation, and shipping and receiving. The position requires SAP work order confirmation, basic computer comfort, math, and measuring skills. Ryerson’s Richmond branch is located at 12311 Horseshoe Way.
Key Responsibilities: Pick and stage feedstock for fulfillment orders
Break down bulk bundles for customer-specific orders
Package material according to customer requirements
Operate sit-down or side loader forklifts as needed
Complete paperwork and SAP work order confirmations
Requirements: Preferred minimum one year of similar job experience
Preferred minimum one year of forklift experience
Basic math and measuring skills
Basic computer skills or computer comfort
Physical ability to pass vision, hearing, and mobility requirements
Bring material handling, forklift operation, and shipment preparation skills to Ryerson’s Richmond branch serving industrial metal customers.
