Lead Zumba classes at Lindsay Recreation Complex using fitness instruction and strong customer service skills. This part time position serves the City of Kawartha Lakes, Ontario.
The Skill Specific Trainer prepares and conducts assigned Zumba classes for Community Services. You will organize equipment, record attendance, complete forms, and promote health and wellness programs. The schedule includes days, evenings, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and conduct assigned Zumba classes
Set up and take down class equipment
Maintain accurate attendance records
Complete pertinent forms and attend staff meetings
Promote division health and wellness programs
Requirements: Previous recreation or fitness environment experience
Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification
Demonstrated customer service, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, and related software
Preparedness for skills testing and required criminal record checks
Use Zumba instruction, leadership, and administrative skills to support recreation programming at Lindsay Recreation Complex.
