Support clean, protected healthcare spaces at Canmore General Hospital through detailed cleaning, disinfecting, and patient-centered service. Casual relief shifts may include days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
Environmental Services staff clean clinical and non-clinical areas throughout the hospital. You will follow protocols, use cleaning equipment, and interact professionally with patients, families, and healthcare staff. The work includes patient rooms, treatment areas, emergency and operating rooms, washrooms, offices, and corridors.
Key Responsibilities: Clean and disinfect surfaces and patient equipment
Perform floor care using mops, scrubbers, and buffers
Remove garbage, biomedical waste, and recycling




Report potential hazards to the Working Leader
Replenish cleaning supplies, linens, and bathroom materials
Requirements: Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent
Basic computer and smartphone knowledge
Ability to lift 25 pounds and push or pull 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach
Ability to follow English instructions and wear protective equipment
