**Job Title: Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to join our team.

This role involves setting up and operating PEM and Press Brake machines, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and possess strong technical and communication skills.
**Work Environment**
The Machine Operator works under the guidance of the Sheet Metal Team Leader to ensure the quality and timely delivery of manufactured parts.

The role requires maintaining machine conditions and operations, with provided PPE such as gloves, waist support, wrist straps, ear plugs, and eye protection.

The position is transit-accessible and operates Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
**Responsibilities**
Set up PEM and Press Brake machines and look up part programs to perform assigned tasks.

Coordinate with Team Leader on scheduled tasks to ensure quality standards and timely completion of finished goods.

Perform maintenance on machines according to set preventive maintenance schedules.

Conduct measurements and quality checks on manufactured parts.

Assist in communicating shortages and overages of hardware inventory to Team Leader for replenishment orders.

Ensure the work area is well arranged and maintained for a safer working environment.

Keep documents, activities, and machine setup measurements with parts up to date.

Assist in compiling data related to special projects as requested by Team Leader.

Ensure compliance with inventory processes, procedures, and contractual obligations.

Evaluate and analyze manufacturing processes, suggesting improvements to increase productivity and minimize production costs.
**Essential Skills**
1 year of experience in a manufacturing workplace or as a machine operator.

Proficient computer skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Experience with Press Brake Operating.

Experience with 'AMADA' machines.

Technical Diploma.

Leadership skills.

Ability to give and receive feedback.

Independence.

Good communication skills.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
