Northern Gateway Public Schools invites applications for full time Automotive Mechanic Teaching Assistant position at Onoway Jr/Sr High School, Onoway, Alberta for the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year.
Successful candidate responsibilities: Assist the teacher in teaching Senior High Mechanics Teacher Assistant requirements/assets: Journeyman Automotive Service Technician certification, or Mechanic-related certification,
or strong mechanical skills and knowledgeA student-centered approach to instruction A demonstrated commitment to collaborative practice and teamworkA willingness to participate in the school community Additional consideration will be given to a candidate that is a certified teacher or has experience instructing automotive mechanics.
Start Date: November 2, 2026 or when the successful candidate is available.
