Successful candidates responsibilities: Working with students one-on-one & in small groups in a classroom setting Teacher Assistants Qualifications: Educational Assistant Certificate (desirable) Necessary Skills and Knowledge: Establish rapport and maintain effective working relationships with children, parents and staff

Work collaboratively and co-operatively with teacher and other educational assistants in the classroom/school

Understand and carry out oral and written direction

Work independently with minimal instruction
