As an Engineering Technician II, you will support Design Services within Engineering Services and Community Infrastructure. Your work covers roads, storm, sanitary, and water systems. You will prepare CAD drawings, tender documents, quantity and cost estimates, and project information under general supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop designs and estimates for municipal construction and maintenance projects
- Prepare base plans, contract drawings, and updated as-builts
- Create quotation and tender documents for engineering projects
- Review drawings and perform initial compliance checks




- Support project teams with schedules and major project estimates

Requirements:

- Community college diploma in a related engineering field
- Two and one half to five years of related experience
- AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience is required
- Knowledge of municipal surveying and engineering practices
- Valid driver’s licence and acceptable driving record
