As part of the Operations Team, the Delivery Driver transports products from distribution or warehouse locations to customers. The position supports accurate, timely deliveries while representing Safety Express professionally. Duties include operating vans or trucks, checking delivery contents, maintaining records, communicating delays, and performing DOP and FIT testing. Warehouse work and physical activity are included.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and follow assigned routes
- Load, secure, and verify packages against delivery documents
- Maintain delivery records, signatures, receipts,
and electronic forms
- Communicate delivery updates, delays, and challenges to managers
- Perform DOP and FIT testing according to procedures
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Previous delivery driving or warehouse experience preferred
- Basic computer, vehicle maintenance, and safety knowledge
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
