DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Monthly working paper file preparation, supporting schedules and calculations, and journal entriesAnalyze business unit performance against key performance indicatorsCommunicate financial results to business unit managersCalculation of monthly revenue and work-in-progress valuationsResponsible for period-end close proceduresReconciliations of ERP variances in costs, inventory, reports, and codingAssist with preparing deliverables for external auditorsOther duties and projects as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's Degree with a major in Accounting or an Accounting diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution combined with 5+ years' experience in the industry.Experience with complex ERP systems in a manufacturing environment preferred.Accuracy and attention to detail while working under tight deadlines.Must be a hands-on performer who can both create accounting and financial information and evaluate that information critically.Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.Dependable team player with a professional attitude and a desire for continuous improvement.Advanced proficiency of MS Excel.Additional Information:This role is based out of our Lloydminster office.This is an in-office role.
