Use Kroll pharmacy software as a Pharmacy Assistant L2 at CareRx’s on-site Kelowna pharmacy, supporting medication deliveries for LTC Homes and retirement communities.
This Pharmacy Assistant L2 supports daily pharmacy operations under Pharmacy Standards of Practice. You will enter prescriptions, process refills, and organize medication deliveries. The work also includes customer service for nurses, prescription billing, and coordination with production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter prescriptions and client information in Kroll
- Process refill prescriptions within Kroll pharmacy software
- Respond to nurse inquiries with strong customer service
- Complete third-party adjudications for prescription billing
- Deliver prescription labels before scheduled delivery times
Requirements:
- Pharmacy Assistant experience or accredited program certification preferred
- Excellent Kroll and eMAR systems knowledge
- Competency with Microsoft Office software
- Ability to operate PACMed and PACVision machines
- Solid numeracy, organization, communication, and multitasking skills
