Apply chemistry and laboratory analysis skills as a Research and Development Lab Assistant supporting Walker’s product innovation projects. This one-year co-op starts January 2027.

Reporting to the Manager of Product Development, you will support the Product Development and Innovation Chemists. Daily work includes preparing emulsions and formulated products, conducting chemical analysis, and completing application testing. You will contribute to current products for applications and markets through experiments, analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform experiments and analysis supporting innovation projects
- Prepare emulsions and other formulated products
- Conduct chemical analysis and application testing
- Operate TGA, DSC, particle sizing,



and microscopy equipment
- Record results and samples in ELN and LIMS

Requirements:

- Enrollment in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering studies
- College diploma or university degree program participation
- No prior work experience required
- Chemical laboratory or production co-op experience considered an asset
- Outstanding laboratory health and safety awareness

Build practical experience in chemical analysis, formulated products, and laboratory equipment through Walker’s January 2027 co-op placement.
