Keep Food Basics produce fresh and appealing as a part time Produce Clerk, using product knowledge, customer service, and careful merchandising.

This permanent part time position supports the produce department through stocking, display creation, and quality checks. You will rotate merchandise using first in, first out practices, remove damaged items, and maintain store standards. Customer assistance remains central, including recommendations, product information, and responses to inquiries. The role also includes cleaning, sanitation, pricing, inventory, and protected equipment use.

Key Responsibilities:

- Unload, sort, inspect, and stock incoming produce
- Rotate merchandise and create neat, appealing displays
- Assist customers with produce selection and storage recommendations




- Monitor inventory, complete counts, and report discrepancies
- Clean areas, sanitize equipment, and dispose of waste

Requirements:

- Customer service driven approach and attention to detail
- Ability to stock merchandise and create displays
- Good product knowledge and retail experience considered an asset
- Ability to lift between 30 and 50 pounds
- Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
