Schedule: 10 + Hours per day (day shift), 10 on 4 off, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week

Personal Reliable VehicleCSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support

Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation

Fitness to Work Assessment Heavy Equipment Technician – Field Qualifications: Must be a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician with Red Seal – Off Road or equivalent

Must have between (5) and (10)



years' Journeyperson experience3rd and 4th Year Apprentices will be considered for this position

Off Road experience is REQUIREDExperience with CAT E.T. and S.I.S. and/or Komatsu is REQUIREDAbility to read/troubleshoot and diagnose using hydraulic and electronic schematics

Experience with CAT Scrapers is Beneficial

Class 5 or 3 License with Q endorsement

Exceptional organization and cleanliness skills are REQUIRED Heavy Equipment Technician - Field Responsibilities: Ensure equipment is maintained at the highest standards, in a timely manner

Conduct performance and quality checks according to procedure

Perform preventative maintenance, repair, and overhauls

Promote, execute and adhere to the company's safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture
