About Us

Food on the Table is a Vancouver-based food business specializing in delicious, globally inspired, chef-prepared meals made with wholesome ingredients. We believe food is care, and we're passionate about bringing nourishing, comforting meals to our community.

We're looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic person to represent our brand at local farmers markets throughout the winter and spring seasons.

What You'll Be Doing:

You'll be responsible for running our farmers market booth independently, from start to finish.

Responsibilities include:

- Picking up food and market supplies from our Vancouver kitchen in the morning.
- Transporting products and equipment to the farmers market.
- Setting up our market booth, including a pop-up tent, tables, signage, and product displays.
- Engaging with customers, sharing our story, and selling our prepared meals.
- Offering food samples and introducing customers to our products.
- Handling sales transactions and maintaining an inviting, organized booth.
- Packing up and taking down the booth at the end of the market.
- Returning remaining food and supplies to the kitchen.





What We're Looking For:

- Must have a reliable vehicle with enough space to transport food, a pop-up tent, tables, and market supplies.
- Available to work Saturdays and Sundays throughout the winter and spring with opportunities in the summer and Fall.
- Friendly, outgoing and comfortable chatting with customers.
- Enthusiastic about food and supporting local businesses.
- Reliable, punctual, organized and able to work independently.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving market equipment and setting up a booth.
- Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions.
- Previous farmers market, retail, hospitality, or food sales experience is an asset.
- FoodSafe certification is an asset.
