JBD is hiring general labourers for foundation and exterior waterproofing work in the Edmonton area. Work involves digging around residential foundations with a small crew. Pay is $20–35/hr depending on work ethic and ability, paid on the 15th and end of month, if either of those dates are on a weekend we'll pay on the Friday. And I'm willing to give up to a 500 dollar advance on Fridays for guys that are working hard. We are digging holes/trenches by hand with a small team The jobs typically run 1–4 days, then move to a new address each time Can be dirty work, bring steel toes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty What we're looking for: -Valuable work ethic and a positive attitude -Respect for homeowners' property -Comfort digging carefully around potential obstacles (utility lines, etc.) -A vehicle is preferred since job sites change daily, but we may be able to work with reliable public transit user.
