Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate terminal employees and day-to-day operations.
- Support reliable movement of freight.
- Coordinate with drivers and colleagues to address operational needs.
- Monitor service and operational processes, identifying opportunities to improve them.
- Support Dispatch operations.
- Communicate with customers and internal teams to support responsive service.
- Coordinate the maintenance of the facility and yard.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of dispatch operations experience
- 3-5 years of leadership experience in the transportation industry
- Strong team management and leadership skills.
- Supply chain knowledge relevant to freight operations.
- Customer service and clear communication skills.
- Process improvement experience and strong organization and time management.
- Microsoft Office, Excel, systems, or data analysis skills.
