Position: Line Locator Assistant
Job Description
Quest Line Locators Ltd. is seeking a reliable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Line Locator Assistant. This position involves working alongside experienced line locators to help identify and mark underground utilities, pipelines, and cables throughout Southeast Saskatchewan.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with locating and marking underground utilities and pipelines.
- Operate and maintain locating equipment and GPS devices.
- Assist with field measurements, documentation, and data collection.
- Follow company safety procedures and ground disturbance regulations.
- Travel to various job sites and work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence.
- Physically capable of working outdoors in various conditions.
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Previous experience in oil and gas, construction, agriculture, or utility locating is an asset but not required.
