Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive Food and Beverage Server to provide welcoming and efficient service in a hospitality setting. The ideal candidate enjoys helping guests, works well with a team, and can balance accuracy with a positive attitude during busy service periods.

Duties

- Welcome guests, answer questions about menu items, and take food and beverage orders.
- Enter orders accurately into the POS system; experience with Micros POS is a plus.
- Serve orders promptly and check in with guests to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Recommend menu items and use thoughtful upselling to help guests make informed choices.
- Process payments and handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to communicate orders, special requests, and timing.
- Follow food handling, food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures.
- Assist with basic food preparation and other service-area tasks as needed.




- Keep dining and service areas organized, clean, and ready for guests.

Requirements

- Strong customer service, guest services, and communication skills.
- Food service, serving, restaurant, food industry, hospitality, or kitchen experience is helpful.
- Familiarity with POS systems; Micros POS experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, food safety, sanitation, and basic food preparation practices.
- Basic math and cashiering skills, including accurate cash handling.
- Good time management, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced workplace.
- A professional, team-oriented approach and a commitment to creating a welcoming guest experience.

Pay: $16.60-$17.00 per hour
