Job Summary

Synercapital Asset Management is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Residential Cleaner for a contract position. You will help keep our apartment buildings clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors.

Responsibilities include cleaning shared indoor spaces and maintaining the tidiness of outdoor areas according to established schedules and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Interior Cleaning

- Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub, and polish floors and stairwells.
- Clean and disinfect common-area washrooms, fixtures, sinks, mirrors, and high-touch surfaces.
- Wipe down doors, railings, light switches, mailboxes, and other shared surfaces.
- Clean ground-floor glass doors and windows.
- Empty garbage and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.
- Replenish washroom supplies where applicable.
- Maintain entrances, lobbies, hallways, laundry rooms, and other common areas.
- Complete scheduled deep-cleaning tasks.

Exterior Maintenance

- Keep walkways and entrances clean and free of debris.
- Perform light groundskeeping and tidy outdoor areas.

Safety and Reporting





- Handle, store, and dispose of cleaning products safely.
- Operate cleaning equipment properly.
- Report maintenance issues, property damage, and safety concerns to management.

Skills and Qualifications

- Previous residential or building cleaning experience preferred; one year of experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of cleaning products and safe handling procedures.
- Ability to work independently and follow cleaning schedules.
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Professional and respectful communication with residents.
- Ability to perform physical cleaning duties, including standing, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling.

Requirements

- Valid driver’s licence required.
- Ability to travel between assigned residential properties as needed.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
