Job Summary

We are seeking a versatile Carpenter/Handyman to complete construction, repair, installation, and restoration work across a variety of projects. The ideal candidate has practical carpentry skills, and is comfortable using hand tools and power tools. Work may include residential, commercial and light manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

- Perform carpentry, woodworking, assembly, and general handyman repairs.
- Install cabinets, flooring, tile, siding, and roofing materials.
- Complete drywall installation and repairs, construction painting, and caulking.
- Support restoration projects, including repairs and replacement of damaged structures
- Perform basic plumbing and electrical work within the scope of training and applicable requirements.
- Use hand tools, power tools safely and effectively.
- Measure materials, assess project needs, and assist with construction estimating.
- Lift and move materials as needed, maintain an organized work area, and follow job-site safety practices.

Requirements





- Construction experience, with demonstrated carpentry, woodworking, or handyman experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics and follow project specifications.
- Familiarity with relevant tasks such as drywall, cabinet installation, painting, masonry, flooring installation, tile laying, roofing, siding, caulking, and assembly.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools; plumbing and electrical experience are helpful.
- Ability to perform physical work, including heavy lifting, standing, bending, and working in wide-ranging job-site conditions.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to safe, quality workmanship.

Pay: $25.00-$39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
