York-Fairbank Centre for Seniors Snow Removal Program

We are accepting applications for snow shoveling positions for the winter season from November 2026 until March 2027. In this position you will receive a list of clients form the Coordinator and remove snow from these individuals homes either using your own equipment or shovels & ice breakers as provided to you by the Centre. You would only preform this service if the clients call you directly and request it so hours are variable.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Must be comfortable working outside in winter weather conditions to perform the snow removal service.
- Must perform snow removal duties as assigned by coordinator.




- Must be courteous and polite to residents.
- Must have a working cell phone.
- This position requires significant availability to respond to weather events.
- Follow all Health and Safety regulations
- Workers must provide their own transportation to the job site.
- To register, must have 2 pieces of photo identification
- Must be physically capable of removing snow and being outdoors in cold tempratures

Pay: $35.00 per hour
