General Production Worker - Transformer Assembly

**Join a leading manufacturer of high-efficiency transformers and electrical distribution equipment.

As a General Production Worker, you'll play a hands-on role in assembling custom transformer units that help reduce energy waste and support power systems across North America.**

Shift Options

+ Days: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
+ Afternoons: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
+ Monday to Friday

What You'll Do

+ Assemble transformer units using blueprints, work instructions, and build sheets
+ Perform electrical coil connections according to specifications
+ Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment
+ Learn and perform TIG welding and brazing on aluminum and copper components
+ Use manufacturing equipment such as drill presses, band saws, and shears
+ Move materials using overhead cranes and pump trucks
+ Prepare finished transformers for testing and varnishing processes
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
+ Follow all quality standards, production procedures, and safety policies

What We're Looking For

+ Minimum 1 year of experience using hand and power tools
+ Manufacturing or production experience preferred
+ Ability to read and follow drawings, instructions, and specifications
+ Comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs on a regular basis
+ Strong attention to detail and quality
+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment
+ Willingness to learn TIG welding and other specialized assembly skills

Nice to Have

+ Previous transformer, electrical assembly, or industrial manufacturing experience
+ TIG welding or aluminum welding experience
+ Experience operating cranes or material handling equipment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $19.25/hr.





Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
