Shoppers Drug Mart in Huntsville is looking for enthusiastic, dependable, and experienced Pharmacy Assistants to join our pharmacy team.
We welcome applicants interested in either full-time or part-time employment.
We are seeking individuals who enjoy working with people, take pride in delivering excellent customer service, and thrive in a busy community pharmacy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists and Registered Pharmacy Technicians with daily pharmacy operations.
- Accurately enter and process prescription information.
- Assist with prescription preparation under appropriate supervision.
- Support inventory management, medication ordering, and stock organization.
- Provide friendly, professional service to patients and customers.
- Maintain an organized and efficient pharmacy workspace.
- Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Previous pharmacy assistant experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with pharmacy dispensing software is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
