Job Overview

- Assist the sewer inspection crew with CCTV inspections of underground sewer lines, helping identify blockages, damage, and other maintenance needs.
- Work outdoors and in varied weather conditions, traveling to job sites and following established safety procedures.
- Receive on-the-job training in inspection equipment, field operations, and safe work practices. Prior experience with sewer systems is helpful but not required.

Duties

- Help set up, operate, clean, and maintain sewer CCTV inspection equipment.
- Support the crew with preparing job sites, positioning equipment, and organizing tools and materials.
- Assist with moving and securing equipment, including using proper rigging practices when trained and authorized.
- Use hand tools and power tools for routine field tasks and basic equipment maintenance.
- Help operate or work around heavy equipment, such as an excavator, backhoe, bucket truck, or other bucket equipment, only when trained and authorized.
- Support low-voltage electrical connections and related equipment setup under appropriate supervision.




- Assist with welding or other repair tasks only when qualified and authorized.
- Follow job-site safety requirements, protect the public and crew, and keep work areas orderly.
- Communicate observations and equipment issues to the crew lead and help document inspection work as directed.

Skills

- Mechanical knowledge and willingness to learn sewer inspection equipment and field procedures.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
- Helpful experience with electrical work, especially low voltage.
- Helpful experience with rigging, excavator use, backhoe operation, bucket operation, bucket trucks, or other heavy equipment.
- Welding experience is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions, work cooperatively, and maintain attention to detail.
- Commitment to safe work practices and readiness to work outdoors and perform physical field tasks.

Pay: $19.80-$27.63 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week
