We are currently seeking an experienced RECEIVER to join our team.

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to Procurement, the function of the Receiver is to meticulously review and sign for deliveries and ensure that support documentation is available for all billed invoices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Receives all shipments within our ERP System (EPICOR) and verifies against packing list, purchase order and physical materials before entering receipt into the system and placing into the warehouse.
- Responsible for signing Bill of Ladings, and noting any issues or discrepancies.
- Assists in requests to vendors for tracking of missing documents, shipments, and deliveries.
- Receiver to communicate with appropriate parties (e.g. Procurement, Quality) if material received doesn’t meet specifications or food safety requirements.
- Receiving dock must be cleared of all packages/materials and delivered to respective departments by the end of every shift.
- Schedules incoming delivery appointments with carriers and communicates if delivery is missed.
- Unpack supplies and put away in appropriate storage areas, ensuring all storage areas are organized and well maintained.
- Assists in inventory management. Daily counts, RMA’s, warehouse organization.
- Order and maintain inventory levels on daily consumables as required.




- Oversee drivers unload bulk solvent and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Adheres to all requirements of Color Ad’s Food Safety Program. Reports any issues noticed to a member of the Food Safety Team.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

- Candidates with previous receiving experience within EPICOR or similar ERP will be first considered.
- Should have 3+ years of experience Receiving in a manufacturing environment.
- Must have demonstrated leadership skills, including leading by example and dealing with individuals at all level in a fair and respectful manner.
- Must have working experience with Excel.
- Optional but desirable: Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack.

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES

- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Exposure to moderate noise and odors
