Laurie’s Paws On The Go is expanding, and we're looking for reliable, compassionate, and experienced individuals to join our team of Pet Care Professionals.

We are currently seeking individuals who can take on established client appointments, provide consistent weekly availability, and help us accommodate new clients as our company continues to grow.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working with animals, takes their responsibilities seriously, and wants to build a consistent schedule within a growing pet care business.

What You'll Be Doing

- Providing private dog walks for one household at a time.
- Offering personalized care based on each pet's individual needs.
- Completing scheduled dog walks and pet care visits.
- Following client instructions regarding feeding, medication, routines, and safety.
- Providing GPS-tracked visit reports, photos, and updates through our scheduling software.
- Maintaining professional communication with company management.
- Following company policies, safety procedures, and client confidentiality requirements.

We do not offer group dog walks or take clients' dogs to dog parks.

Who We're Looking For

- Previous experience handling dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments.
- Dependable transportation and a valid driver's licence.
- A smartphone with reliable internet access.
- Ability to provide a satisfactory police background check.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Willingness to learn and follow our company's pet care procedures.
- Reliable weekday availability, particularly during daytime hours.




- Availability for occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays is an asset.

Experience in veterinary medicine, animal shelters, kennels, dog training, or professional pet sitting is considered an asset.

Compensation

Our current base contractor service payments include:

- 30-minute walk: $15
- 45-minute walk: $20
- 60-minute walk: $30
- 2.5-hour hike: $50

Additional compensation may apply for eligible travel, evening appointments, weekends, and holidays.

Assignments depend on client demand, location, availability, and suitability. Hours and earnings are not guaranteed.
