We are seeking a Shop Pressure Vessel Inspector to support quality control and inspection activities for our client in the Sarnia Lambton area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience inspecting pressure vessels during fabrication, with a robust understanding of ASME codes and welding quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect pressure vessels throughout the fabrication process to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and quality requirements.
- Review drawings, material certifications, weld documentation, and inspection records.
- Perform visual weld inspections, dimensional checks, and review pressure testing documentation.
- Identify and document non-conformances and work with production to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain accurate inspection reports and quality documentation.




- Coordinate with quality personnel, welders, fabricators, and third-party inspectors as required.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in pressure vessel inspection, preferably within a fabrication shop.
- Knowledge of ASME Section VIII and applicable welding codes and standards.
- Experience with weld inspection, material traceability, and pressure testing.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret technical specifications.
- Relevant inspection certifications, such as CWI, NDE/NDT, or applicable BPV qualifications, are an asset.

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
