Duties

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms, ensuring thorough coverage of UI, functionality, performance, and security aspects.
- Automate testing processes using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and Appium to increase efficiency and repeatability of tests.
- Collaborate with developers to identify bugs, troubleshoot issues, and verify fixes across multiple environments including Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Perform database validation using SQL queries in MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and PL/SQL to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Conduct API testing utilizing RESTful services to verify proper integration with backend systems.
- Utilize version control systems such as Git (including GitHub, GitLab), SVN, TFS, and Jenkins for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows.
- Analyze test results using data analysis skills to identify patterns or recurring issues that impact product quality.
- Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, defect reports via Jira or similar tools,



and test execution reports for transparency and process improvement.

Skills

- Proficiency with testing frameworks including TestNG, JUnit, NUnit (.NET), and Selenium WebDriver for automation tasks.
- Solid experience with mobile application testing on Android and iOS platforms using tools like Appium or similar automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, C++, PHP, HTML/CSS/Node.js for scripting automated tests.
- Familiarity with database management systems including MySQL, SQL Server (Microsoft SQL Server), Oracle (PL/SQL), and JDBC connectivity.
- Understanding of DevOps practices with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, Maven, TFS/TFSVSTS for seamless deployment cycles.
- Experience working with operating systems including Windows and Linux environments; familiarity with Unix shell scripting (Bash).
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts relevant to testing distributed applications or cloud-based services on AWS or Azure.
- Ability to perform UI testing for web applications utilizing HTML/XML validation techniques; experience with MVC frameworks is a plus.
- Strong analysis skills to interpret logs from tools like Eclipse or Visual Studio; adept at troubleshooting issues across diverse platforms.
- Excellent collaboration skills using Jira for issue tracking; experience with version control systems such as GitHub or GitLab is essential.
