Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our busy restaurant team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment, supporting the culinary staff in food preparation and service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong attention to food safety standards, and previous experience in restaurant or food service settings. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable kitchen experience and develop skills in food handling, meal preparation, and restaurant operations.

Duties

- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to ensure cleanliness and availability for kitchen staff
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work areas regularly




- Assist with meal preparation and other kitchen duties as assigned to support smooth restaurant operations

Requirements

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen staff and fellow team members
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays
- Basic cooking skills or experience with meal preparation is a plus but not required; training will be provided on specific duties

Pay: $16.60 per hour
