We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Operator to join our team at a freezer warehouse in North York. The successful candidate must have verifiable experience operating forklifts in a freezer workplace at temperatures of -18°C and be comfortable working in cold storage conditions.
This role requires strong equipment-handling skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Raymond Reach, Dockstocker, Counterbalance, and Walkie equipment.
- Load, unload, move, and organize products within the freezer warehouse.
- Pick, stage, and replenish inventory as required.
- Maintain accurate product placement and inventory organization.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and operating guidelines.
- Work efficiently in a freezer environment at -18°C.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Maintain a clean, protected, and organized work area.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of forklift operating experience in a warehouse environment.
- Verifiable freezer experience is mandatory, preferably in temperatures of -18°C.
- Valid forklift certifications for:
- Raymond Reach
- Dockstocker
- Counterbalance
- Walkie
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a cold storage environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse products as required.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
What We Offer
- Competitive pay of $24.00 per hour.
- Consistent Monday-to-Friday schedule.
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
