Our client, based in the Trenton-Belleville area, is a successful mid- sized manufacturing company withfacilities in Canada, the United States and Europe. They are seeking an experienced and strategic professional to oversee all company financial activities. Responsibilities include the direction of the annual budget process, the timely preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements and forecasts, the development and monitoring of a cost accounting system, and the development and monitoring of relevant KPIs. While primarily involved in overseeing financial operations, there is an expectation of participation in operations and assisting in the development of strategies that promote company success. A key member of the leadership team, reporting directly to the President.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Direct General Accounting, Cost Accounting and have oversight of Payroll, develop timely monthly financial records, prepare annual financial statements and year end audits, and develop and maintain sound financial/accounting policies, procedures and systems.
- Ensure that financial plans and forecasting are consistent with organizational goals, including the provision of financial analysis to drive sound decision making,



and have the ability to respond to enquiries from other divisions of Anamet.
- Report and interpret monthly results including financial variances, analyze the effectiveness of the cost reduction program, and performance measured by the KPI’s.
- Coach and develop a team of 2 direct reports, ensuring that they have the appropriate skills/resources to be effective.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

- Strong business acumen, proven experience and strong verbal and written skills.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in a senior financial position in a manufacturing setting.
- Past manufacturing experience in cost accounting and analysis is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
- The ability to maintain a collaborative/consultative approach in the delivery of ideas and solutions to the leadership team.
- The personality and demeanor required to build and maintain good working relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree and CPA designation (or in progress) is desired.

Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
