About the role
We're a busy, multi-provider dental clinic looking for a Dental Administrator who takes initiative in keeping our schedule full and our patients coming back. You'll work at the front desk and directly with practice leadership, and you'll play a real part in how our clinic grows.
You'll thrive here if you like staying a step ahead and take pride in helping patients get the care they need on time.
What you'll do

- Follow up with patients who have outstanding treatment and help them get it booked
- Confirm appointments and reduce no-shows through consistent, personal follow-up
- Build an efficient schedule that keeps providers productive and patients seen on time
- Handle front desk duties: check-ins, check-outs, phones, and patient questions
- Help patients understand their coverage, including predeterminations and coordination of benefits
- Work with practice leadership to try new approaches and make them part of how we work
- Handle patient information with discretion and professionalism
What you bring
- 1+ years of experience in a dental clinic, with results you can speak to
- A proactive approach to scheduling and a track record of keeping a schedule full
- Confidence on the phone and a natural, friendly way with patients
- Working knowledge of Ontario dental insurance (coordination of benefits, predeterminations)
- Clear, professional communication: warm with patients and firm when needed
- Organized and dependable,
with strong follow-through
- Open to feedback and comfortable adapting to new processes
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Fluent English; French is a strong asset
Nice to have
- Open Dental experience
- Experience with CDCP patients and claims
- Experience in a busy multi-provider clinic
Why work with us
- A respectful team where people are treated well and their input is heard
- Real room to grow: we value people who pick up new approaches quickly and help make them work
- We believe in change done right: thought through, clearly communicated, and followed through. Improving how we work doesn't mean being all over the place.
- Starting at $20/hour, with increases based on experience and performance
- Dental coverage
- Free on-site parking
