Arima is developing a privacy-preserving synthetic data generation algorithm to help companies make their data less siloed and more powerful. Together with 21 proprietary data partners, Arima's Synthetic Society is a knowledge base that mirrors the real world and helps companies enrich their 1st party intelligence to build complete customer journeys. We have APIs and a marketing focused business intelligence tool available to help customers easily leverage our datasets, integrate 1st party data in a privacy preserving way, and run analysis and modelling in a few clicks.

We are seeking an ambitious and tech-savvy Sales Automation Engineer Intern to join our team. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of sales operations, data engineering, and up-to-date AI tools. You will work directly with our B2B sales and revenue operations teams to streamline pipeline generation, design automated outbound sequences, manage dynamic prospect data, and integrate generative AI workflows into our daily go-to-market engine.

This is a hands-on technical role ideal for a student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or Engineering who is passionate about applied AI and modern sales tech stacks.

Key Responsibilities

- Automate Outbound Campaigns: Design, test, and deploy multi-channel outbound email and LinkedIn campaigns using automation platforms (e.g., Clay, Smartlead, Instantly, Make/Zapier).

- Data Sourcing & Contact List Management: Build, clean, and enrich targeted lead databases by integrating APIs and scraping data from sources like Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clearbit, and Crunchbase.

- Build AI-Powered Sales Workflows: Develop and implement custom LLM workflows (using OpenAI/Claude APIs,



LangChain, or custom prompts) to personalize outreach messages at scale, summarize account research, and auto-qualify inbound leads.

- CRM & Tool Integration: Connect outbound tools with our CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce) to ensure clean data flow, accurate status tracking, and seamless lead routing to account executives.

- Optimization & Performance Analytics: Monitor deliverability metrics (bounce rates, spam rates, open/reply rates), conduct A/B tests on messaging and list criteria, and iterate to improve overall campaign conversion.

Job Qualifications

- Technical Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field is preferred.

- Programming Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Python or JavaScript/Node.js for handling data transformations, script writing, and working with REST APIs.

- AI & Prompt Engineering: Practical experience working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and writing prompts or structured outputs for real-world tasks.

- No-Code / Low-Code Experience: Familiarity with workflow automation tools like Make.com, Zapier, or specialized revenue platforms like Clay.

- Data Manipulation: Comfortable working with JSON, CSVs, standard SQL, and Google Sheets/Excel functions for data cleaning and enrichment.

- Problem-Solver Mindset: Strong logical thinking skills with a drive to optimize manual processes and build scalable workflows.

- Understanding of email infrastructure basics (DKIM, SPF, DMARC, domain warming, deliverability best practices).

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
