Overview

We are seeking a dependable Commercial Garage Door Service Technician to install, inspect, maintain, and repair commercial garage door systems and related equipment. This hands-on role involves diagnosing mechanical issues, completing service calls safely and efficiently, and delivering professional service at commercial properties.

Responsibilities

- Inspect, install, maintain, and repair commercial garage doors, operators, tracks, springs, cables, and related hardware.
- Diagnose mechanical and operational problems using hand tools, equipment manuals, schematics, and other technical information.
- Read blueprints and job plans to understand site conditions, measurements, and installation requirements.
- Complete service work and installations with attention to safety, quality, and customer needs.
- Perform related building and repair tasks as required
- Keep tools and work areas organized,



follow job-site safety practices, and document completed work.

Qualifications

- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand tools safely and effectively.
- Construction experience is preferred; experience in carpentry or a related trade is a plus.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and basic troubleshooting is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, communicate professionally, and follow instructions.
- Dependable, detail-oriented approach to work and commitment to protected, quality service.

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour

Experience:

- Commercial garage door expertise : 3 years (preferred)
