We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Truck Driver - Class 1 to join our transportation team. This role involves safely operating commercial trucks to deliver fuel efficiently across various routes. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to handle heavy equipment and freight logistics. Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks for local and long-distance deliveries
- Load, unload, and secure freight using appropriate equipment
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage, and cargo details
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues
Skills
- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- 2 years experience in transportation and commercial driving operations
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various conditions
- Strong understanding of safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members and clients
- Ability to manage time effectively and adhere to delivery schedules
Pay: $60,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
