Overview

We are seeking a skilled, client-focused Nail Technician to provide professional nail care and a welcoming salon experience. The ideal candidate takes pride in high-quality service, follows strong sanitation practices, and communicates clearly with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable services and products.

Responsibilities

- Provide manicures, pedicures, nail shaping, polish application, and other nail care services based on client needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation; disinfect tools and follow applicable health and safety standards.
- Consult with clients about their preferences, nail condition, and service options, using strong customer service and communication skills.
- Recommend relevant services, including body waxing when qualified, and explain aftercare guidance.
- Support retail sales by helping clients select appropriate nail and personal-care products.




- Use ethical upselling to inform clients about complementary services or products without pressuring them.
- Keep service areas, tools, and supplies orderly and ready for appointments.

Requirements

- Current nail technician license or other required credentials for the location, and the ability to perform services within the scope of that license.
- Experience or training in nail care, sanitation, and client service.
- Strong communication skills, professionalism, attention to detail, and a client-centered approach.
- Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Body waxing experience is a plus; any waxing services must be performed only when properly trained and authorized.
- Comfort discussing relevant services and products, including retail sales and appropriate upselling.

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
