Are you an electrical apprentice who wants steady hours, real hands-on work, and a team you can grow with?
TRALO Heating & Cooling is a residential HVAC company in Dartmouth and Ottawa, named fastest-growing company in Ottawa two years running. We install heat pumps across the HRM, and we need an electrical apprentice who can own the electrical side of our installs. You don't need your Red Seal. We care more about solid hands-on experience and a great attitude.
What you'll do:
- Complete the full electrical on ductless and central heat pump installs
- Install disconnects on your own
- Install pony panels, sub-panels, breakers and dedicated circuits
- Work alongside our HVAC install crews to finish jobs cleanly and on time
- Keep a tidy truck and treat every customer's home with respect
Bonus: if you can also help with the heat pump install itself (mounting, line sets, brazing), we'll pay for it and train you further.
Complex service and panel upgrades:
you'll get to work on these alongside our two Red Seal electricians. It's a real chance to build those skills, and you'll have support and guidance the whole way.
What we're looking for:
- Real residential electrical experience (registered apprentice, 2nd year or higher preferred)
- Able to wire HVAC equipment and complete disconnects without someone standing over you
- Reliable, on time, coachable, and wants to move up
- Valid driver's licence and clean abstract
What you get:
- $25–$30/hr, depending on experience and level
- Full-time, year-round work, overtime available
- Health, dental and vision perks
- Paid vacation
- Hours logged toward your apprenticeship under Red Seal supervision
- A young, growing team with room to move up fast
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Benefits:
- Dental care
- Extended health care
- Paid time off
- Vision care
Work Location: On the road
