We are looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service & Counter Sales Representative.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and is comfortable balancing office duties with hands-on tasks throughout our facility.

Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a related industry is considered an asset but is not required. We value professionalism, reliability, and the ability to provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Order Desk & Customer Service (Primary Focus)

- Answer incoming customer phone calls and emails in a friendly and professional manner.
- Accurately enter and process customer orders in our EBMS ERP system.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, and availability.
- Prepare customer quotations and follow up on inquiries.
- Develop a strong understanding of our product lines to better assist customers.
- Communicate with customers regarding backorders, order status, and shipping updates.
- Handle customer questions and concerns professionally and efficiently.




- Work closely with purchasing, warehouse, and shipping staff to ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.

Counter Sales & Warehouse Assistance (Primary Focus)

- Greet and assist walk-in customers with purchases, pickups, and product inquiries.
- Retrieve products from warehouse shelves and storage areas for counter customers as needed.
- Process counter sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist customers in locating suitable products or alternatives.
- Coordinate with warehouse and shipping staff when additional assistance is required.

Sales Development (Secondary Responsibilities)

- Assist with promoting new and existing products to customers during quieter periods.
- Identify potential new customers and sales opportunities.
- Follow up with prospective customers regarding product inquiries and opportunities.
- Support sales growth initiatives while ensuring order processing, incoming calls, and counter service remain the top priorities.

Qualifications & Skills

- Friendly, professional, and customer-oriented personality.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing orders.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.




- Comfortable being on your feet, walking throughout the facility, and using stairs to retrieve products.
- Dependable, motivated, and willing to take initiative.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous customer service, retail, or sales experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of plumbing, hardware, agricultural products, or wholesale distribution is an asset but not required.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to alternate between desk work and active duties throughout the facility.
- Comfortable standing, walking, and using stairs throughout the workday.
- Ability to retrieve, handle, and occasionally lift products as part of counter sales duties.
- Ability to safely perform warehouse-related tasks when assisting customers.
